Most sellers don’t need to replace everything they own or turn their home into something it isn’t. They need an experienced, objective set of eyes — and a clear plan.
I’ve worked in the Austin real estate and home staging industry since 2007 and have helped prepare more than 1,000 homes for market, from small starter homes to multi-million-dollar properties.
Over the years, I’ve walked through just about every staging dilemma imaginable.
Too much furniture. Not enough furniture. Paint colors that aren’t quite working. Rooms that don’t photograph well. Collections accumulated over decades. Children’s toys, dog beds, dated light fixtures, empty corners — and homeowners who have absolutely no idea where to begin.
That’s where I come in.
During your consultation, we’ll walk through your home together and look at it through a buyer’s eyes. I’ll help you decide what to keep, what to pack, what to move, what to change and — equally importantly — what not to spend money on.
My approach is practical, friendly and unintimidating. This isn’t about judging your home or your decorating style. You live here. Staging simply asks a different question:

Today, NB Designs specializes exclusively in occupied home sale consultations. We no longer rent furniture or accessories, which means my recommendations are completely focused on helping you make the very best of the home you already have.
You’ll leave your consultation with a room-by-room plan, clear priorities and the confidence to get your home market-ready without wasting time or money on things that don’t matter.

Meet Vashti
Designer | Design Consultant
With a background in fashion design and a natural eye for color, proportion and detail, Vashti has been part of NB Designs for the past six years.
A graduate of SCAD Fashion Design, Vashti brings her design training to the interiors side of NB Designs, helping clients make confident selections that feel current, cohesive and appropriate for their home.
She leads our design consultations and assists clients with selections including lighting, tile, flooring, finishes and other design details — taking what can often feel like an overwhelming number of choices and narrowing them into a clear, considered direction.
Having worked alongside Noleen for six years, Vashti also brings a deep understanding of the practical side of preparing homes for market. Her recommendations balance good design with real-world considerations: what will photograph well, appeal to today’s buyers and make sense for the property and budget.
Approachable, creative and practical, Vashti has a knack for helping clients move from “I have no idea what to choose” to “Yes — that’s exactly right.”
